Announcement of the Week: The Echo Project

Holy Fuck!

This is the only way I can sum up my reaction to the announcement of The Echo Project taking place in Atlanta October 12-14. Make sure you're sitting down before you read this lineup: Phil & Friends, moe., Umphrey's McGee, the Disco Biscuits, Michael Franti & Spearhead, ALO, Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Roots, Cypress Hill, RJD2, and more. Tickets are $120 and go on sale July 31.

My Morning Jacket: Live From Your Cell Phone

My Morning Jacket introduced a really cool way of making a video of their Lollapalooza performance today: a collage of fan videos from the performance (it would be even sweeter if MMJ went on tour again sometime soon, but for now this will have to do).

-SIRIUS' "Jam On" station will take a one week hiatus to preview the new Grateful Dead channel

-?uestlove sounds off after being denied D.J. honors at his high school reunion

-Ryan Adams will play more Fall dates

-Stewart Copeland will release his own Anthology
