Here are some good shows coming up in the city at one of my favorite venues, because one of my favorite drummers (Joe Russo) is playingI had to post. ☮ The legendary JC's are a band from Florida! I used to love this soul/funk/gospel group when I lived there and they are really well known down south. They will be playing with Topaz tonight so you have to check them out!

Southern Rock/ psychedelic funk-- A new, sweaty, dance-your-ass off sound that fuses gritty blues and groove with jazz and Latin sounds. Topaz, who usually plays with his band Mudphonic at Sullivan Hall, will be performing on Thursday night with a new collaboration featuring such musicians as:
