"Make other plans for Halloween in Las Vegas: The annual Vegoose Music Festival will not be presented this year. Not at the end of October or any other time. “We’re not doing it,” Daren Libonati, director of UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center and Sam Boyd Stadium, said Monday. “(Vegoose producers) are still trying to figure out what we’re going to do or not do, but it doesn’t look like we’re going in that direction.”"
Although some of the dates were leaked early, the Disco Biscuits have finally announced their Fall tour dates where they'll hit up Nashville, Chicago, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, and others before a Boston Halloween show and a few more spots in Ohio in early November.
And although I try to avoid posting links to real articles with real content on this site, this Rolling Stone article "The Great Iraq Swindle" should make you laugh, and then get really angry, regardless of your political leanings...

-the initial Vegoose lineup was released - Umphrey's, Franti, and STS9, and then...well...I'll limit my comments to "I don't hate Superfly Productions any less today"
So although the Vegoose 2007 lineup is not out a Vegas news station is reporting that the Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and The Killers will be the headliners...more to come...
I would like to apologize to all ten of my devoted fans out there for the week long absence but with Bonnaroo and starting real work this week I've been kind of swamped...
-and speaking of Tubes, I've missed at at least one WeTube Wednesday in the mix; here's the consolation prize - Phish doing "Halley's Comet" on 11/22/97 at Hampton
And of course, a roo-review is in the making...but before I say anything I think I disagree with every single point in this guy's Bonnaroo Review
