Today the Up North Music Festival, which will take place August 8-10 in Central Maine, was announced. The lineup includes Bob Weir & Ratdog, Umphrey's McGee, the Wailers, Soulive, Assembly of Dust, Lettuce, John Brown's Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, the Breakfast, Spiritual Rez, and the Indobox.
Also unmentioned on this site until now is the BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, which will take place June 5-7 in Enterprise, Alabama. Unlike most festivals this Summer, however, Mr. "How You Feelin" Michael Franti would probably get his ass kicked at this one. The lineup includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Hank Williams Jr., Ricky Scaggs, Gov't Mule, Del McCoury, Yonder Mountain String Band, Keller Williams, Old Crow Medicine Show, Railroad Earth, Emmit-Nershi Band, Marc Broussard, Social Networking and the Wood Brothers.

Good to see your site back up and running again!
Franti really does not know when to shut the f--k up. I've never been asked to jump so many times in my life. I didn't think he'd ever leave the stage in Asheville last summer.
