Normally I am not a big fan of pretty much anything with Rolling Stone Magazine's name attached to it. In my opinion the comments are always more entertaining than the articles; and this Rock 'n' Roll daily article about Hillary Clinton proves to be no different.
The article is about the various songs that Hillary Clinton is considering for her Presidential Campaign theme song. As can be expected, most of the songs are bad; I mean, Smashmouth covering the Monkees and Shania Twain bad; you can check them out and vote for your favorite one here.
Anyways, the reader suggestions for Hillary's campaign song are hilarious. Some highlights include "Who Let the Dogs Out" (Baha Men), "Loser" (Beck), "Cold Hard Bitch" (Jet), "Electioneering" (Radiohead), and, of course, "Evil Woman" (ELO).
Our suggestions would include "When the Circus Comes to Town" (Los Lobos), "Hey Hey What Can I Do?" (Led Zeppelin), "Lola" (Kinks), and "Waitin' for the Man" (Velvet Underground).
UPDATE: So driving around Dallas we thought of a few more good ones...
If Hillary gets the nomination her theme song really should be "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (U2); but "Dude Looks Like a Lady" (Aerosmith), "Killer Queen" (Queen), and "Eve of Destruction" (Buffalo Springfield) would all fit quite nicely.
