Matt Dickey-Try This at Home

After a production process of nearly four years, Matt Dickey brings you "Try This At Home," a collection of original, instrumental jazz/funk infused with latin, african, hip-hop and electronic flavors. Larger sized ensemble arrangements and rhythm section improvisations round out more than 73 minutes of tasty, funky grooves. The recording was done 99% in his basement home studio and he wrote, arranged, produced and engineered it using a laptop. Featuring some of NYC's finest musicians, listeners might find parallels to The JBs, Galactic, and 70s Herbie Hancock.
