moe. Beacon Theatre and Sullivan Hall After Show

The show was pretty raucous, it makes me think that I may actually be outgrowing the jamband scene, can drugs really be such a big part of a concert experience? This coming from someone who gave Eckerd College it's reputation... Regardless the musicianship and energy was amazing the Beacon as the backdrop was spectacular, the band played pretty well and held down some very long improvisations. They all played with the highest energy and looked on top of the world. Afterwards the whole band headed to Sullivan Hall and every one but moe's bassist sat in with Leroy Justice, and God Street Whine's, Lo Faber, Aaron Maxwell and Jaik Miller, also in the mix was the sax player from Ratdog he funked it up. When not jamming with the band he could be found behind the red curtain jamming along to himself in a private concert to whoever stepped back there. The whole thing was a donation based concert to benefit the National MS Society.
