It seems like an odd pairing, but Indobox and Spiritual Rez will be bringing quite a unique dance party to NYC this Friday, September 24.
Indobox has been tearing up the East Coast live electronic/rock/jam fusion scene for years now. Their shows are always guaranteed to end up in a down and dirty synth laden dance party. Surely this Saturday will be no exception. Listen to some of their tunes on their Myspace.
They will be sharing the bill with Spiritual Rez, who will be celebrating the release of their new album, Nexus. This horn driven reggae -funk party band threw down hard when they recently opened for Orgone, and I am stoked to see them back at Sullivan Hall again. If you're feeling a full night of fun, the openers (Zach Borer, Matt Snow & the Way It Was) are definitely worth checking out.
