So I've pretty much abandoned the blog. A couple of factors led to this, and in no particular order: time-consuming nature of law school/being lucky enough to have a job; decreased interest in (and available funds for) any music that's not Phish; and, honestly, the extremely narrow subject matter of the blog.
That being said, I always enjoyed writing this blog because it allowed me to write about something non-academic. Eventually, though, I just kind of got to the point where writing about the same few bands got old and I found myself wanting to write about other shit. That, and, let's be honest, there isn't very much excitement when the highlight of your (blogging) day is linking the new Tea Leaf Green tour dates an entire hour before they're posted on Hidden Track.
So, I'm starting a new blog: 10,000 talkers (whose tongues were all broken). Get the Bob Dylan reference? Kind of obscure, but then again, not as obscure as Partyin' Peeps!
To the folks at Hidden Track, Coventry, and The Weight: thanks for your support and let's get back in touch in the blogosphere soon.
