Vegoose Canceled?

From the Las Vegas Sun:

"Make other plans for Halloween in Las Vegas: The annual Vegoose Music Festival will not be presented this year. Not at the end of October or any other time. “We’re not doing it,” Daren Libonati, director of UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center and Sam Boyd Stadium, said Monday. “(Vegoose producers) are still trying to figure out what we’re going to do or not do, but it doesn’t look like we’re going in that direction.”"

Forecastle Fest: July 25-27 Louisville, KY

The initial lineup for this Summer’s Forecastle Festival just came out. The lineup includes the Disco Biscuits, the Del McCoury Band, Method Man, Tortoise, Dr. Dog, Ekoostik Hookah, Groovatron, the New Mastersounds, and others.

The whole shindig will go down at the Louisville Waterfront Park. Tickets go on sale April 30 at 10 a.m.

I would normally go on some sort of "yet another festival" rant at this point but I am just too damn excited about some Kentucky Fried Bisco.
